Upright meaning
The Queen of Wands is fully lit and fully present: warmth with a spine, charm that has done its homework. This card favors showing up boldly, hosting, leading from enthusiasm, and treating your own energy as the household's hearth. People are drawn to this frequency; use the pull for something worth gathering. Waite adds a practical streak, success in ventures, so let the charisma close real deals, not just rooms. The queen's secret is that her fire is fed deliberately, by rest, delight, and work she believes in. Radiate on purpose. Others will warm their hands and rise toward it.
Reversed meaning
Reversed, the hearth smokes. The queen's confidence dips into its shadows: comparison, jealousy, the suspicion that everyone else's fire got the good wood. Or the giving has outrun the fuel, hosting everyone's life while your own simmers unattended, and the radiance is now performance running on fumes. Waite names even deceit here, the small dishonesties exhaustion teaches. The remedy is refueling before repair: solitude without apology, one flame tended purely for yourself. Envy, when it visits, is misdirected appetite, showing what you want and have stopped reaching for. Ask for that honestly. The fire is banked, not gone.
