Upright meaning
The Knight of Wands rides hot, armed but not for war. This is the card of the bold move made with style: the pitch delivered on conviction, the trip booked on a Tuesday, the campaign launched before it is comfortable. Expect movement, possibly literal, departures, changes of scene, new posts. The knight's charge carries people with him, and his warmth is real. The discipline is choosing the hill before spurring the horse, since his momentum is easier to start than to steer. Act on the appetite that has lasted longer than a week. Courage with a map beats either alone.
Reversed meaning
Reversed, the charge scatters. Energy explodes in all directions and finishes none: projects raced to ninety percent and abandoned, commitments made brightly and remembered dimly, tempers flaring where patience was needed. Waite's keywords are blunt, rupture, division, interruption, and they name the cost of heat without channel. The card also marks journeys interrupted, plans that break on contact with logistics. Before the next charge, write the plan down and sleep on it; if it still shines in the morning, it will survive a saddle. Point the horse. Then let it run.
