Upright meaning
Three generations stand at the archway of an estate. The Ten of Pentacles is wealth with a family tree: success measured in decades, the household established, resources that outlast the hands that built them. This card favors long structures, wills written, homes secured, traditions maintained, skills and stories passed to the generation watching the dogs. Ask what you are building that your people will stand on, and whether your definition of wealth includes the unpriced assets, names, knowledge, tables that gather. Plant oaks. The best time was years ago; the second best is this season.
Reversed meaning
Reversed, the archway develops cracks. Family friction over resources, the estate tangled in delay or dispute, the legacy threatened by short-term thinking or elder-care strain. This position favors getting hard conversations and documents into daylight while goodwill holds; structures under stress need clarity more than hope. It can also mark a personal reckoning with inherited definitions, the family blueprint of success no longer fitting the person asked to wear it; legacies are meant to be edited, not just obeyed. Guard the young shoots in all weathers, including weather you cause. Wealth that survives generations is mostly trust, kept in repair.
