正位置の意味
城壁の上、地球儀を手に領地を見下ろす人物。ワンドの2は食欲のある計画です。うまく回るものを築き、より広い地図を測っている。行軍前に城塀で静かに描く大胆な長期計画に好都合なカードです。ウェイトが見抜いた緊張もあります。達成は人を酔わせ、同時に重くもする。次の一歩ではなく、人生の次の国を何にするかを問うてください。そして方向を選び、踏み込むことです。
逆位置の意味
逆位置では、城壁からの眺めが閉塞感へ変わります。地球儀は持っていても城を出られず、稼いだ快適さを危険にさらすのを恐れて計画の中に留まっている。あるいは計画がずれ続ける。驚き、揺れる自信、選択肢を並べ替えても晴れない落ち着きのなさ。恐れが地図を描いていないか——安全な大きさに縮めていないかを、このカードは問います。外へ向かう小さく本物の一歩で水平線を近づけることです。

Divinatory Meanings: Between the alternative readings there is no marriage possible; on the one hand, riches, fortune, magnificence; on the other, physical suffering, disease, chagrin, sadness, mortification. The design gives one suggestion; here is a lord overlooking his dominion and alternately contemplating a globe; it looks like the malady, the mortification, the sadness of Alexander amidst the grandeur of this world's wealth. Reversed: Surprise, wonder, enchantment, emotion, trouble, fear.
