Yichuan YizhuanLine statement
The Second line, being yielding and compliant, dwells in the center; this represents humble virtue accumulated within. Because humble virtue fills and accumulates within, it manifests externally in voice and countenance; hence it is called 'humility that sounds forth.'
Dwelling in the center and attaining correctness, it possesses the virtue of centrality and correctness; hence it is said 'perseverance brings good fortune.'
In general, 'perseverance brings good fortune' sometimes means being both correct and auspicious, and sometimes means that only if one attains correctness will there be good fortune. For Six in the Second Place, its perseverance and good fortune are inherently its own.
