Speaking in terms of the two trigrams, the yielding line ascending refers to Kun moving upward. Xun, being low in substance, inclines downward, while Kun accords with the time and ascends upward. "In accord with the time" means the time is appropriate for pushing upward.
Once the yielding line ascends and completes Pushing Upward, the lower trigram is gentle and the upper trigram is compliant. Ascending through the way of gentleness and compliance can be called timely.
The second corresponds to the fifth with the way of firm centrality, and the fifth corresponds to the second with the virtue of central compliance. Able to be gentle and compliant, its pushing upward is timely; therefore it is supremely prevailing.
In the text of the Commentary on the Judgments, it is mistakenly written as "greatly prevailing," as explained under Hexagram Possession in Great Measure.
In general, the way of pushing upward must depend on the great person: ascending in rank depends on kings and dukes; ascending in the Way depends on sages and worthies.
Employing the way of gentle compliance and firm centrality to see the great person, one will surely fulfill one's pushing upward. "Have no anxiety" means not worrying that it will not be fulfilled.
Fulfilling one's pushing upward brings blessings to oneself, and blessings extend to other things. South is the direction people face; "southward expedition" means advancing forward.
Advancing forward fulfills one's pushing upward and enables one to carry out one's will; therefore it is auspicious.
