正位牌義
一人立於高處，六根權杖從下方逼來：權杖七守的是你掙來的位置。預期你的想法、邊界或地盤受到挑戰——不是因為它錯，而是因為它顯眼。你佔著地利，這比人多更值錢。把話說清，站住腳，記住這裡的勇也包括言語的戰場：談判、論戰，其中堅定比音量重要。不是每次進攻都值得格擋，有的只需要你站著不動。認清哪塊地值得守，然後守住它。
逆位牌義
逆位時，高處變得搖搖欲墜。要求成倍湧來，一個守衛要當十個用，力竭讓每個立足點都發虛。這張牌問兩個問題：這座山還值不值得守？你是不是出於慣性、而非必要在孤軍作戰？有些陣地該優雅讓出；撤退是戰術，不是人格缺陷。而地面確實要緊的地方，趁下一波之前，去搬救兵、去分派、去加固。韋特還提醒別猶豫不決——在邊緣搖晃，比站定或退下都危險。有意識地選山，然後有意地守，或有意地離。

Divinatory Meanings: It is a card of valour, for, on the surface, six are attacking one, who has, however, the vantage position. On the intellectual plane, it signifies discussion, wordy strife; in business—negotiations, war of trade, barter, competition. It is further a card of success, for the combatant is on the top and his enemies may be unable to reach him. Reversed: Perplexity, embarrassments, anxiety. It is also a caution against indecision.
